Three Beck Projects Win TEXO Distinguished Building Awards

TEXO, the Construction Association, recently recognized these Beck Projects with Distinguished Building Awards.

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Mansfield, Texas 

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center was awarded first place in Healthcare Category 3 (for projects over $30 million). The 210,000 SF tower initially opened with 54 beds and shell space for 64 more. This expansion project added 34,000 SF of additional operating rooms, cardiology and gastroenterology service areas and 64,000 SF of additional support service space.

Old Parkland West Campus, Dallas, Texas 

The Old Parkland West Campus received an award of Merit in the Design-Build category 3 (for projects over $30 million). The project is a 158,000 SF Class “A” office building complex in a secure campus setting.

TCU Frog Alley Parking Garage, Fort Worth, Texas

TCU’s Frog Alley Parking Garage project received first place in the Design-Build Category 2 (for projects between $10 and $30 million). The 345,000 SF, five-level structure provides 950 parking spots for TCU students and visitors.

Each of these projects will be recognized at TEXO’s annual awards gala in December.

TEXO combines the two largest national construction associations to unify, advocate and advance the construction industry in North and East Texas.
