Beck Nominated as a 2016 Healthiest Employer in North Texas

The Dallas Business Journal recently released its 2016 Healthiest Employers in North Texas, which includes The Beck Group. The list features 40 companies who are measured on a number of criteria including culture and leadership commitment, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions and reporting and analysis.

Beck’s Wellness Program strives to create a culture of wellness that promotes healthy living for our employees and their families. At the core of Beck’s Wellness Program are bi-annual biometric screenings that keep employees and their spouses informed of their current health status and any warning signs for serious conditions. Personalized wellness goals are created for each participant and they have access to physical and mental health assessments, nutrition courses and onsite fitness sessions such as yoga and run clubs. The whole company partakes in friendly team competition during our annual walking challenge. For taking an active role in their health, employees are rewarded with medical premium discounts, gym subsidies, gift cards, grocery discounts, fitness device discounts, weight loss program rebates and more.

The rankings of the 40 companies will be revealed at a luncheon in March.
