Lenox Square Mall Wins DBIA Award

The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) – Southeast Region recently recognized The Beck Group with an Honor Award for Renovation/Rehabilitation/Restoration of Lenox Square Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. The DBIA Awards were established to recognize design-build projects which represent the best-of-show that the design-build industry has to offer

As a major renovation to one of the nation’s premier regional malls, the renovation of Lenox Square not only changed the face of the mall, but also changed the image of Peachtree Road located in the heart of the major commercial and financial business district of Buckhead.

With over 15 million shopper visits each year, Beck was challenged with ensuring that all tenants could stay open during the busy Holiday Shopping Season. Much of the work was conducted at night.

The complete project also included renovating the mall’s atrium, food court and dining space and a significant expansion and renovation of the retail space within Neiman Marcus. Beck not only kept the store fully operational during the remodel, but completed the 18-month project 10 weeks ahead of schedule.
