D CEO recognition celebrates 25 years of Beck Architecture and continued design leadership
The Beck Group is proud to announce a major milestone in architecture leadership. Chief Design Officer Brian Miller has been named the Excellence in Architecture & Design Award winner in D CEO’s 2025 Commercial Real Estate Awards.
The recognition celebrates Miller’s leadership and the growing impact of the firm’s architecture practice, which marked 25 years of design excellence in 2024.
The recognition honors Miller’s leadership and the growing impact of the firm’s architecture practice. In 2024, the firm celebrated 25 years of design excellence.
Selected from a respected field of finalists—including leaders from Corgan and Gensler—Miller was recognized for guiding the growth and evolution of Beck’s architecture practice. Since becoming Chief Design Officer in 2019, he has expanded the practice into a team of more than 200 architects and design professionals.
25 Years of Beck Architecture
Beck Architecture leads with an expertise-driven model. This model has enabled the team to deliver meaningful design solutions across healthcare, commercial, and higher education markets.
In 2024, the firm celebrated its 25th anniversary and earned honors from the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The Tec de Monterrey CCM Biblioteca received an Honor Award, and Vine Street earned a Merit Award.
That same year, the architecture studio also began work on several high-profile projects in North Texas, including:
- Pointe Vista featuring the Hard Rock Hotel at Lake Texoma
- JPS Health Network expansion in Fort Worth
- Old Parkland East Campus in Dallas
“This recognition reflects the dedication of a team that believes in the power of design to shape communities and improve lives,” said Miller. “It’s an honor to build and lead a practice that is deeply collaborative and relentlessly committed to quality.”
The Excellence in Architecture & Design Award is one of many honors Beck has received in recent years. In 2024, D CEO recognized CEO Fred Perpall for construction excellence as part of its Commercial Real Estate Awards.
