Beck Announces School of Construction in Atlanta

The Beck Group is proud to announce the launch of the Beck School of Construction in Atlanta, its construction program for Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs).
The program features a series of nine training sessions to help MBEs increase their knowledge of the construction industry, improve their operations and profitability, and be competitive in bidding on projects. Sessions focus on growing business capacity, and participants are expected to share their challenges and experiences in the industry.
Schedule
Classes will run from late March through the summer and include approximately six half-day meetings. Participants must attend five class sessions to graduate.
Classes are at Beck’s Buckhead office at 3500 Lenox Road, Suite 250 in Atlanta. Participants will be required to attend class sessions for nine months to graduate from the program.
Eligibility
Applications for the program will be accepted until Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
- Business must be minority-owned. Certification with a governmental agency or industry association is preferred but not required.
- The business must have been in operation for at least one year and have annual gross revenue of $100,000 or more.
- The business must provide construction services.
- The business must be within metro Atlanta.
- The attendee must be the business owner or executive.
Note: not all applicants will be selected for the program.
