Beck Builds the Future

Recently one of Beck’s Austin project teams hosted 14 Webelo Scouts for a project site visit. Paul, our senior project manager explained the scope, cost and approximate man-hours required to do this type of project. The Webelos learned basic design and construction concepts, and reviewed drawings.

The project team explained some safety rules and demonstrated how personal protection equipment is used, before taking the Webelos on their very first tour of a construction site. The Scouts were working on earning their Webelos Engineering Activity Badge.
