Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
- Oct 7, 2020
Hispanic Heritage Month is observed every September 15 to October 15 in the United States. During this time, we celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Latinos with ancestry from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson. President Ronald Reagan expanded it in 1988 to cover 30 days beginning September 15 and ending on October 15.
We are proud to celebrate the contributions of Latinos in our communities and at the Beck Group. Fourteen percent of our employees identify as Hispanic and touch every aspect of our business, including roles in architecture and construction, as well as accounting, marketing, and leadership.
During Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the stories and voices of the Latinos who make our firm a better place.
