Interns: Learning about Law on the Job

Beck believes in providing students with excellent work opportunities, where they not only learn more about their future career but also contribute to our organization in meaningful ways. And our internships aren’t limited to students studying design and construction.
In addition to our two in-house lawyers, including our General Counsel, we’re working with externs from Southern Methodist University. These students conduct legal research and contract review and review legal strategies in meetings with clients. The goal is to help the students learn how to quickly respond and act not just as a lawyer but as a business partner.
