Beck-Designed Medical Office Building Celebrates Milestone

The Beck Group recently celebrated the topping out at a Pappas Properties medical office building it designed in Midtown Charlotte at Kenilworth Avenue and Harding Place.

At 200,000 SF, the medical office building will house Atrium Health’s Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute location. The new Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Kenilworth location will provide improved access to specialty heart care for patients across the Charlotte region including a cardiac rehabilitation suite, state-of-the-art imaging capabilities, and a range of sub-specialty cardiovascular services.

This facility is the first of a pair of Atrium Health medical office buildings where Beck is providing architecture, equipment planning, and interior design services for Pappas Properties and Atrium Health.

A nine-story,1,400-plus-space parking deck accompanies the building. The structure and its neighboring medical office building will connect by a four-level pedestrian bridge.

Brasfield & Gorrie is the general contractor for the project, which is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2020.
