Beck to design and build Texas Health Hospital Mansfield

  • Jul 31, 2018

The Beck Group will serve as architect and general contractor of the newly announced Texas Health Hospital Mansfield. Scheduled to open in late 2020, the hospital will provide a variety of services and quality care for Mansfield and surrounding communities.

Construction of the 4-story, 195,400 SF campus will begin this fall. The facility will offer a 24/7 emergency room, primary care and women’s care, specialty practices, interventional cardiology, and advanced diagnostics. It will open with 59 beds and has the growth capacity for 24 additional beds.

The project is a joint venture between Texas Health and Adventist Health System. It is the third time Beck partners with Texas Health.

Beck served as architect and general contractor of Texas Health’s Behavioral Health unit in 2014. In 2017, the system opened Texas Health Recovery & Wellness Center, a substance abuse treatment facility, also designed and built by Beck. It is located about 3 miles north of the new hospital site.

“Our projects with the Texas Health system are driven by a strong partnership and Beck’s efficient and highly successful design-build model,” said Jennifer Cull, associate principal of design at Beck.

“We look forward to partnering with Texas Health and the Adventist Health System on this project and using our highly successful design-build model to deliver another state of the art facility for the rapidly growing community,” Cull said.
