The Beck Group Makes US Best Managed Companies List
- May 21, 2020
The Beck Group, the integrated design-build firm, made the 2020 list of US Best Managed Companies. The program, which is sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, recognizes select private companies with annual revenues of at least $250 million that demonstrate excellence in strategy, execution, culture, and financials.
“Earning a spot on this list of well-respected and well-known companies is such a rewarding achievement. We are passionate about the work we do, and acknowledgment from the US Best Managed Companies program cements the strategy, execution, financial and cultural practices we have put in place,” said Chief Executive Officer Fred Perpall.
In February, a panel of external, independent judges conducted the applicant review and selection process for the US Best Managed Companies program. Beck is one of 27 honorees that come from 20 cities across the US and span a wide range of industries. They join a global Best Managed Companies community of over 1,000 organizations from 20 countries.
Founded in 1912, Beck is a collaborative team of designers, builders, and technology experts, offering planning, architecture, interior design, construction, sustainability, and technology consulting services.
By integrating architecture and construction, Beck provides a unique approach to projects that transforms the way organizations design and build.
Beck is one of the largest design-build firms in the United States. It is known for its pioneering use of mainstream and emerging technologies, which provides clients with solutions at every stage of their projects across market sectors like education, aviation, mixed-use and retail, and healthcare.
Most recently, the firm was recognized with a 2020 Design Award from the Texas Society of Architects for Estadio Borregos, a multi-purpose stadium it designed and built at the private university Tec de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
