Building the Future of Women’s Sports in Dallas

On a bright September morning, the WNBA Dallas Wings, City of Dallas, and The Beck Group celebrated a major milestone at Joey Georgusis Park. Together with community leaders, fans, and partners, the team broke ground on a new, state-of-the-art practice facility that will serve as the Wings’ permanent home.

The Beck Group, in partnership with Azteca Enterprises, is leading construction of the 70,700-square-foot building. The Dallas-based firms bring proven experience and deep community ties, ensuring the project reflects local pride and professional ambition.

Dallas Wings Practice Facility Includes World-Class Features

The Dallas Wings Practice Facility groundbreaking ceremony included remarks from Dallas Wings CEO and Managing Partner Greg Bibb, who called the project “a truly transformative public-private partnership.” He emphasized that the facility will not only provide world-class training, recovery, and wellness resources for players but also create space for families and the community.

Renderings revealed expansive amenities: two practice courts, a 3,800-square-foot locker room, a player lifestyle suite with a salon, mothers’ rooms, a family lounge, and a content studio.

Wellness features include hydrotherapy pools, a hyperbaric chamber, massage and recovery rooms, and a mental performance suite. The strength and conditioning areas total more than 4,000 square feet, supported by an outdoor training space and a full-service dining facility.

More Than Brick and Mortar

City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert described the project as “bigger than just brick and mortar,” calling it a hub where women’s sports, family health, and community pride come together. The facility is scheduled to open before the 2026 WNBA season, positioning Dallas as a national leader in advancing women’s athletics.
