Groundbreaking Held for THR Residential Treatment Center

  • Feb 10, 2016

Today The Beck Group celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Texas Health Residential Treatment Center in Mansfield, Texas. The 75,000-square-foot, two-story building will be designed and built by Beck.

The facility, the first of its type for the health system, will provide residential treatment for adolescents and adults from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond who need professional help to resolve addictions. Clients will typically stay at the treatment center for about 30 days. During their stay they will be involved in daily routines that will mostly include group therapy and wellness-focused activities.

“We’re proud to be a part of this project to bring high-quality residential treatment services to the citizens of Mansfield and the surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex,” says Sean Wilson, Director of Healthcare Design at Beck. “The opportunity to both design and build this project allows us to be a single point of contact for Texas Health Resources and maximize the project’s budget while still delivering high-quality, patient-centered design that will impact the patient’s stay in a positive way as they begin on their road to recovery.”

When complete in early 2017 the project will include a fitness center, yoga studio, massage therapy, movie theater and dining area.
