Matt Leyman To Lead The Beck Group’s Dallas Office
- Mar 2, 2023
The Beck Group has promoted Matt Leyman to lead the architecture and construction firm’s Dallas office. Leyman succeeds Jeff Forbes, who has served in that role since 2013 and will remain at Beck supporting its growth markets.
Before his promotion, Leyman was the Operations Manager of Beck’s Fort Worth office. He has been instrumental in leading high-profile projects throughout the metroplex, most notably American Airlines Skyview 6 Hospitality Complex, Sundance Square and The Shops at Clearfork.
Leyman has been with Beck for almost two decades, starting as a Senior Project Engineer and moving through the ranks of the esteemed firm. Before Beck, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and is an alumnus of the United States Naval Academy.
“The Beck Group has strong roots in Dallas and North Texas, so choosing the right leader to continue our legacy of innovation and giving back to the community was essential. Matt is a natural-born leader, ready to expand our presence in this high-growth region,” says Beck CEO Fred Perpall.
Beck is the architect behind the recently announced Stonelake Capital Partners project, 2626 McKinney. The project is a 17-story Uptown office tower set for Dallas McKinney Avenue across the street from Whole Foods Market. The 180,000 SF project will open in mid-2025.
