Huguley Hospital Construction Reaches Milestone

  • Aug 28, 2015

Construction on the new Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth has reached a milestone with the placement of the final steel beam on the facility, signifying the project has reached its maximum height of 106 feet. The facility, both designed and constructed by The Beck Group, will bring state-of-the-art healthcare to Tarrant County residents, when completed in Summer 2016.

The building reflects changes in healthcare and technology over the past three decades and the population growth of Tarrant County. With patient rooms that are nearly double the size of rooms in the existing facility, medical teams will have more space to accommodate equipment and work with patients and family members will have a comfortable space to visit patients. The six-story facility will total 233,000 square feet and include a new public lobby on the ground floor, a women’s services floor with two C-Section Suites, eight labor and delivery rooms, 20 postpartum rooms and a nursery, three levels with medical/surgical units and 36 inpatient beds per floor.
