The Beck Group recently celebrated the ribbon cutting and dedication of The University of Texas at Dallas Bioengineering and Sciences Building.

The 220,000-square-foot building serves as the home for UT Dallas’ programs in bioengineering and neuroscience and allows the school to maintain prominence as a leading research institution. It also provides additional research space for related programs in engineering.

“We are so pleased to have been a part of the expansion of UT Dallas Campus,” says Robert Hirsch, Senior Project Manager at The Beck Group. “This building will be a space that will inspire the next generation of bioengineers and scientists and build upon the foundation of research this institution was founded.”

Built by The Beck Group, with design completed by both ZGF Architects LLP and Page/, the building is designed to facilitate and encourage collaboration between the research community of faculty and students. The building has achieved LEED Gold utilizing the latest lab air controls to greatly reduce its overall energy consumption.
