Aquilla J. Morgan High School

Aquilla J. Morgan High School is a new, state-of-the-art campus on an 87-acre greenfield site in southern Hillsborough County. Designed for more than 3,400 students, the school supports the Wimauma community’s rapid growth with modern learning environments and career-focused labs.

The campus includes several new academic buildings and a two-story media center. Students also benefit from an auditorium with an orchestra pit, culinary lab, music department, JROTC labs, game design room, cosmetology classroom, and an automotive shop. A two-story gymnasium, spacious cafeteria, and flexible learning areas further enhance daily life on campus.

Outdoor facilities provide space for athletics and recreation. The grounds feature a synthetic turf playing field, baseball and softball fields, a practice football field, a track and field complex, and basketball and tennis courts. Site improvements include five retention ponds, dedicated parking for students, staff, and visitors, and eight electric vehicle charging stations.

Together, these elements create a modern, future-ready high school that strengthens educational opportunities and builds community pride in Wimauma.
