This historic moment for northwestern Collin County presents all students from Celina, Prosper, and other surrounding communities the opportunity to receive a comprehensive, quality education closer to home.
The Celina Campus sits atop 75-acres, can serve up to 2,500 students, and features classrooms, computer labs, science labs, health sciences labs, and Anthony Peterson Center for Academic Assistance, a career center, a testing center, a bookstore, and all student and enrollment services functions. The campus offers academic transfer courses, business management, computer-aided drafting and design, information technology, and health sciences. The method of the building allows its distinct massing to nestle into the rolling hillside, accentuating the site’s natural beauty and creating dramatic views of the surrounding landscape.
The campus is also home to the Brenda Willard Goodell Library, honoring the late chair of the Collin College Board of Trustees and Celina residents. Brenda Willard was observed during the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony with a special unveiling of her portrait hanging inside the library.
