Dallas ISD Thomas Jefferson High School

In the aftermath of a devastating tornado that struck Dallas in October 2019, Thomas Jefferson High School underwent a transformative renovation and expansion. The campus received much-needed attention, ensuring the existing campus was preserved and improved throughout construction.

The cafeteria/kitchen, weight room/dance studio, and culinary/ROTC areas had to be demolished. However, new additions were seamlessly integrated into the existing building, and the previously interrupted construction of an additional section was successfully completed.

Thomas Jefferson High School shares new site improvements with Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy. Those improvements include new baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields, new tennis courts, a band practice field, and 560 parking spaces.
