Set up in the tech corridor of Austin Texas, Stonelake Capital broke ground on Domains’ tallest tower

Standing 24 stories high and 332,265 SF of Class-AA office space, Domain Tower 2 is a master planned mixed-use development at the corner of Burner Road and Braker Lane in Austin Texas. Just one of 15 phases, Tower 2 has a completion date of 2024 and is set to be the tallest tower at 308’ tall – other completed phases include Domain Tower (11-story Class A office building), Flatiron (Class A seven-story multifamily), and Domain Place (five-story boutique office asset).

Beck is providing architectural services, while general contractor is a joint venture – Zapalac Reed and EE Reed, Sam Houston, Richard Paddock and JD Lewis. The asset with occupy 1.5+ acres on Alterra parkway Austin’s tech corridor, where Amazon, Facebook, and Indeed have set up offices. The project is pursuing LEED v4 core and shell certification boasting numerous high-performance and energy efficiency measures.

The 14th floor – transfer level – includes an exclusive fitness center, state-of-the-art conference and meeting rooms, and expansive outdoor terrace with views of the new Austin FC stadium. Moreover, Domain Tower 2 will be served by six passenger elevators and will provide 1,026 parking spaces (16 electric charging stations and 62 secured bike parking spaces).
