This unique, 137-room boutique hotel is located in Tampa’s historic Hyde Park district, across from the renowned Bern’s Steak House. The Epicurean Hotel taps into the trendy “foodie” movement, offering culinary classes for beginners and experienced cooks. Built by Beck, the hotel’s high-end finishes include reclaimed wood millwork and ceiling features, Nicaraguan handmade concrete floor tiles, a wine cork wall and concrete wall tiles. In keeping with its culinary focus, the hotel features a French-style patisserie, wine shop and chocolate shop. The hotel also includes a state-of-the-art culinary classroom known as the Epicurean Theatre, 5,200 SF of flexible event space, a health club and swimming pool with cabanas. The Epicurean, part of the Autograph Collection of Marriott International, was named Marriott International’s “Opening of the Year” of 2013 and secured a spot in Condé Nast Traveler’s Reader’s Choice Awards for “Top Hotels in Florida.”
