Nobu Hotel and Restaurant
- Atlanta, GeorgiaBeck – Architecture, Preconstruction, Construction
As part of a major transformation effort led by Simon Property Group, The Beck Group partnered on the redevelopment of Phipps Plaza in Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead district—reimagining the iconic mall into a premier mixed-use destination.
The centerpiece of the redevelopment is the luxurious Nobu Hotel and Restaurant. The 152-room hotel includes elegant suites, a rooftop pool, conference and event spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with Technogym technology. Adjacent to the hotel, the 10,000-square-foot Nobu Restaurant offers its world-renowned Japanese cuisine, enhanced with locally inspired flavors unique to the Atlanta location.
The new Phipps Plaza experience also includes Life Time’s high-end athletic club and coworking space, as well as One Phipps Plaza—a 13-story, LEED-certified Class A office tower. At the heart of the development lies a central outdoor plaza designed for community events and gatherings, soon to feature Citizens Culinary Market.
This ambitious project blends luxury hospitality, fitness, office, dining, and retail into a vibrant live-work-play destination. Together with Simon, Beck helped bring a new kind of lifestyle hub to life in the Southeast, redefining what it means to experience Phipps Plaza as a destination for work, wellness, dining, and luxury.
