A large national financial services firm selected Westlake, a Dallas-Fort Worth suburb, as home for its southwest regional headquarters campus. Built by Beck, the first phase 615,000 SF native stone and glass building was designed to blend in with its 315-acre natural environment. Three main wings radiate out from a center nucleus and are oriented on the site to maximize views of the surrounding forest, meadows and ponds. Within the building, floors feature a “plug and play” system, minimizing the amount of work required to accommodate staffing changes. The campus is designed to create an exceptional working environment, including a fitness center and cafeteria, wellness center, parking garage, deck and pavilion, and hiking trails that run through the naturally wooded campus.
