Sabre Holdings, a world leader in the travel marketplace with core businesses that include Travelocity, needed to accommodate growth while consolidating offices. The new Beck-built Class A 475,000 SF headquarters houses 3,000 employees within two low-rise office buildings. Sabre’s corporate campus includes a 5-story parking structure accommodating 1,700 vehicles.  Sabre’s dedication to the environment along with their desire to attract the best and brightest workforce led them to emphasize sustainable construction methods. The concrete mix used for both the floor members and the columns significantly reduced or eliminated the potential negative impact on the environment and its occupants. The water efficient landscape emphasizes native plants while a large pond on site capture storms water runoff and serves as a source for site irrigation. Hiking trails and paths wind throughout the property, and employees are encouraged to bike to work with bike racks, showers and lockers available on site.  Sabre was the first LEED Silver certified building in Texas.
