A corporate headquarters relocation brought more than 700 of the company’s top executives and corporate support functions to an existing building in downtown Dallas. Rather than purchasing new space or renting to accommodate the influx of new personnel, the client decided to renovate existing space to accommodate the needs of the incoming staff. As an added challenge, the client determined that no new square footage would be added to the existing downtown campus and current tenants would be relocated to alternate spaces on the campus before any demolition work could begin. Beck’s construction team renovated multiple floors in the building for the current tenants and incoming employees, while delivering the demanding project within the six month schedule.
