Texas Health Hospital Mansfield and Professional Office Building

Texas Health selected Beck to design and construct their new green field campus in Mansfield, Texas. The Hospital and Professional Office Building (POB) are built on a 24-acre developed tract of land along U.S. Highway 287 and Lone Star Road. The 206,802 SF acute care community hospital opened with 59 patient beds and has capacity for 95 patient beds. The campus offers services such as Medical & Surgical inpatient care, ICU, Women’s department with a continuing care nursery, surgical procedures including endoscopy, cardiac services, a Divinci robot, growth for a Hybrid OR, all modern imaging modalities, and an emergency department. The hospital is supported by ancillary services including dietary, pharmacy, laboratory, sterile processing, materials management,, administration, and a central utility plant.

The Professional Office Building is a 4-story, 80,000 SF building that includes tenant improvements for outpatient services, an open-air connection to the hospital, and a shared outdoor dining space. The project includes hospital physician groups, independent physician offices, and hospital support staff space. Services designed for the building include outpatient imaging, pre-admit testing, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and Urology.
