The School District of Palm Beach County Renovations

The Beck Group partnered with the School District of Palm Beach County to deliver multi-phase renovations at two active campuses, Jeaga Middle School and Manatee Elementary School. The projects improved safety, functionality, and comfort for more than 2,000 students, creating modern and efficient learning environments.

At Jeaga Middle School, Beck completed a 175,000-SF renovation focused on enhancing both safety and usability. The team upgraded drainage systems, restored the track, improved ADA accessibility, and resurfaced parking lots. Interior work included new ceilings, door hardware, and water fountains. Because the campus stayed open during construction, Beck used a detailed phasing plan to keep classes running smoothly and minimize disruptions.

Manatee Elementary School received a 65,000-SF renovation to modernize the campus and boost building performance. Exterior improvements included new finishes, doors, gutters, waterproofing, and paving. Inside, the team replaced ceilings, upgraded restrooms and water fountains, installed new casework, and added shading systems in classrooms. Beck also modernized building systems with HVAC and EMS control upgrades, plumbing and fire alarm updates, and roof repairs. These enhancements extended the facility’s lifespan and improved overall energy efficiency.
