Located in the heart of University of Tampa’s campus, the 90,000 SF, six-story Graduate and Health Studies Building is not only one of the university’s newest buildings, but it is now the largest academic building at The University of Tampa. The building flows organically with the rest of the architecture on campus with red brick, precast concrete, metal and glass, offering panoramic views of the campus and downtown Tampa.
The first floor welcomes students and faculty with gathering areas, study spaces and general classrooms. Home to the Department of Physician Assistant Medicine, the second and third floors include simulation rooms, teaching spaces, study areas, classrooms, a clinical skills lab, health assessment labs, and offices. The Department of Nursing occupies the fourth and fifth floors with a patient care area, pediatric bed area, nurse’s station, ICU simulation rooms, health assessment labs, student lounge, training rooms, faculty offices, a conference room, and classrooms. The sixth floor program includes faculty offices, admissions counselors’ offices, staff offices, a teaching lab, physics classroom, physics lab and open workstations for the Office of the Graduate and Continuing Studies/Physics departments.
