The Beck Group provided preconstruction and construction services for the University of Tampa Grand Center, the university’s largest building to date. This 10-story, 450,000 SF multipurpose facility enhances student life and academic support, offering modern amenities designed to foster learning, collaboration, and community.

The Grand Center features 600 student housing units, 40 faculty offices, classrooms, study spaces, and student support areas, creating a dynamic educational environment. Additional amenities include a parking garage, an on-site Starbucks café, and a 6th-floor sky park, providing students and faculty with spaces to study, socialize, and relax.

Opened in August 2024, the Grand Center welcomed over 600 first-year students who now reside on its upper floors. The building also serves the entire University of Tampa community, with offices, classrooms, and convenient parking. A bike storage area with a shower and changing room on the lower level encourages sustainable commuting.

This marks Beck’s 19th collaboration with The University of Tampa since 1996, underscoring a long-standing partnership. The University of Tampa Grand Center construction reflects Beck’s expertise in large-scale academic and residential projects, supporting the university’s continued growth and student success.
