Numa Rais

From major university work to cruise ship terminals, hospitality developments, and even a cricket stadium, Numa Rais has built a career solving complex design and construction challenges.

Numa joined Beck in 2022 and serves as a Project Executive in the South Florida office. With a background spanning architecture, design management, construction operations, and owner’s representation, he sees projects from every angle and anticipates client needs. He was drawn to Beck to help build a team and grow the firm’s presence in South Florida and the Caribbean.

Trained as an architect in France with additional studies in Australia, Numa began his career in the Caribbean. There, he managed large-scale programs, where limited resources demanded inventive solutions.

Later, at Florida Atlantic University, he oversaw major research and athletics projects. That role marked the beginning of his transition to the contracting side of the industry. He went on to work for a large national general contractor, where he deepened his builder-side experience before ultimately finding a home at Beck, where he integrates design and construction.

Numa is a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects. He lives in South Florida with his family and maintains close ties to the Caribbean, where he continues to support community development and healthcare initiatives.
